Taster Week Information

Students who have applied to study with us in September 2022 are invited to our taster week on Monday 27th June and Tuesday 28th June. This is the perfect opportunity for them to try out their chosen A level subjects, experience life on campus and meet like-minded students.

Taster Timetable

It's important that you attend on the correct day, at the correct time, for your chosen taster sessions. Take a look at our timetable below to find out when our taster sessions are taking place.

You'll only need to visit Dudley Sixth once during the taster week, and you'll have the chance to try out 3 subjects during your visit. For example, if you've booked to attend on Monday morning, you'll try out 3 subjects during this time.

Got questions about your visit? Here's some answers to frequently asked questions to help you with your visit.

Dudley Sixth is located on Ednam Road, Dudley, West Midlands, DY1 1HL. If you're planning to use public transport, our campus is easily accessible using the extensive bus routes across the Dudley and wider West Midlands areas.
All of our morning sessions will begin at 9am and end at 12pm. All of our afternoon sessions will begin at 1pm and end at 4pm. Please arrive on campus at least 20 minutes before your session begins to allow enough time to check-in and get your goodie bag!
When you arrive at the campus reception, you'll be greeted by a member of our team. They'll give you your Dudley Sixth goodie bag and take you to join your group.
When you arrive on campus, you'll be able to pick up a drink and a snack before you go to your taster session.
All of our morning sessions will end at 12pm. All of our afternoon sessions will end at 4pm. You are free to leave at any time, but we have some exciting activities planned for you and hope you will stay for the duration of your session.
Our taster sessions are the perfect opportunity for you to try out the courses you're interested in, experience life on campus and meet like-minded students who may be studying at Dudley Sixth with you. During your taster you'll get the chance to meet our friendly tutors and have-a-go at some exciting activities.
All of our morning sessions will begin at 9am and end at 12pm. All of our afternoon sessions will begin at 1pm and end at 4pm. Please arrive on campus at least 20 minutes before your session begins to allow enough time to check-in and get your goodie bag! If you're running late, don't worry, we will check you in and you will be able to join your chosen taster session.

Our taster sessions have been designed for the applicant only. This is a chance for you to meet other students and find out what it's like to study at Dudley Sixth.
If you have specified on your booking that you have a learning difficulty or disability that you will need support with during your visit, our tutors and support staff will ensure you are fully supported on the day. If you have any questions regarding support during your visit, please email Tammy.Bragg@dudleycol.ac.uk.
If after your taster you want to change your application to a different subject, please email admissions@dudleycol.ac.uk. If you are happy to keep your choice, you do not need to do anything further. We will be in contact with you throughout the summer in relation to your enrolment.
