Favourite thing about Dudley Sixth: It’s hard to pick just one as there is so many across the 2 years but I think the fact that you can meet so many different people with different mindsets and even your teachers, I feel like you can have banter with your teachers. For example, in PE, we’d be playing a practical class with Bex. In media, we’d be talking about our favourite bands and artists with Dan and that kind of thing. Just having that socialisation is really valuable and it helps you develop your confidence as a person.  

Advice for future students: Throw yourself at every opportunity and take it all in your stride. You have got to speak to people and talk to people and you will get so much out of doing just that. Like the little things, the first day can feel really daunting but when you start speaking to people you realise it’s not scary and you make so many friends. So yeah, my advice would be to just go for it!
