Bricks and mortar are now morphing into state-of-art teaching spaces and stylish study areas at Dudley Sixth.

Robert Chapman, Director at Dudley Sixth said: “I walked around the building last week and it really is going to be a great place to learn.

“I stood where the lounge is going to be with its large picture windows looking out onto the grassed area.

“The labs and classrooms are taking shape, and the wood-effect flooring in the main entrance is really stylish and will really make Dudley Sixth feel different to a school environment.

“Fortunately the big ‘tent’ that encloses the building has kept all the rain out so work is still bang on schedule.

“From September, it’s hard to imagine that there will be over 450 students learning here – the aim is to create a busy but intimate learning environment for all.”
