Dudley Sixth Open Day

Open Day March 2020

Dudley Sixth is holding an Open Day on Saturday 14th March 2020 for school leavers wishing to study A levels at our A level centre on Ednam Road. We will be open from 10 am to 2 pm for year 11 students, their parents and friends to look around and find out more about the huge range of A level subjects available to study.

Dudley Sixth has an unashamed focus on academic excellence and offers thirty-six A levels in a range of different subjects from maths to media, languages to law and sports to science, all backed up by outstanding support and teaching.

Visitors can discuss subjects they are interested in with tutors and have the opportunity to make their applications for a place in September. They will also be able to meet with Dudley Sixth ambassadors, who are current A level students, and tour the fantastic learning facilities, science labs, language facilities and i-point learning centres as well as chatting to them to find out what life and studying is like at the sixth form.

Lisa Stevenson, Assistant Principal Academic Studies at Dudley Sixth, said: “Our Open Days are the perfect way for students starting their A levels this September to come and have a look around and get a feel of what their time at college will be like. We’ve got such a diverse range of subjects to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone, whatever academic or career paths they are planning to pursue. If you’re considering studying for A levels I’d certainly recommend you to call in and see for yourself just how great Dudley Sixth is.”

Students studying at Dudley Sixth will also have access to a fitness suite, sport resources, theatre and other facilities housed within Dudley Learning Quarter, the campus in the centre of the town.
